To whom it is addressed:
Students of middle and upper cycle of primary education.
Beskrivelse:
This workshop proposes a journey through the history of science in a practical and manipulative way, while working experimentally in different areas of science where women also have a say.
Students will have the opportunity to carry out experiments related to some of the scientists who, throughout history, made some vital discovery for the advancement of science. Working as a team, they will have to investigate the proposal of the experiment and relate it to the character (do you know the scientist Inge Lehmann? or maybe Marie Curie sounds more to you?). We will thus be able to verify how many of the scientific discoveries have been made by women who, for different historical, social and cultural reasons, were left in the background.
It can be offered as a complement to the guided tour of the exhibition “The Science of the Game”.
